The whole thing is told through his private journal entries. Raw, unfiltered, and written exactly how a guy like Jake would actually write.
Some chapters are straight from Jake’s laptop. Others are Side Fiction. These are outside perspectives that fill in what’s happening beyond what Jake sees.
This story is not polite. It is not politically correct. Jake is flawed as hell and he says rude, insensitive, and sometimes downright ugly shit because that’s who he is. The writing isn’t perfect either. It’s messy, it swears, and it comes from a broken guy who’s just trying to survive.
