Subject 15: Three Novels Coming Soon
Subject 15 has been nearly a decade in the making. Over the past 10 years, I’ve written three novels, totaling more than 240,000 words in this captivating story. At one point, I even published the first novel, but it was filled with editing mistakes, as I released it without the guidance of a professional editor. Since then, I’ve reworked all three books and am now raising funds to have them properly edited for release.
Book One: Lab Rats is set in Massachusetts and introduces our protagonist, the brash and cocky Jack McCoy, who enlists in a secret drug trial to pay off his gambling debts. Along with 14 other participants, he begins taking an experimental drug called “Formula 35C” over a 30-day trial period. As the experiment progresses, Jack witnesses his fellow subjects fall one by one, as a series of mind-bending and terrifying events unfold. Even Jack begins to feel the effects, and the changes in him are profound. The ending will leave you breathless.
Book Two: The Hunting Wars picks up after the trials, with Jack now on the run, hunted by every three-letter agency and the police. Physically battered and mentally shattered, Jack hides in a small town in Western Massachusetts. There, he uncovers new truths about himself and forms unlikely alliances that will alter his journey.
Book Three: Rise of the Awakened brings the action to Boston, where Jack takes the fight to the corrupt cabal that has hunted him. In an epic final showdown, Jack faces off against his arch-nemesis, Rudy, in a battle that will determine the fate of both their futures and that of mankind.
